We have been at Kukkiwon Taekwondo Acadamy (KTA) for over four years now, and we are very satisfied with all aspects of the school. Master Kim is not only an expert at taekwondo (patterns, sparring, self-defense, breaking, etc.), but perhaps more importntly he is fabulous teacher. He has the gift of bringing out the best in each person he teaches. He has consistently exhibited the highest level of commitment to the students at his school, and his dedication to each one of them continues to impress us. Master Kim is great with kids and makes each class a lot of fun, while requiring the students to give 100% everytime they attend.  He is respected by all the children and parents at KTA.  He has helped each of our children to not only develop excellent skills in the sport of taekwondo, but perhaps more importantly has taught them to work hard, always do their best, respect others, help other students, be courteous, persevere, and have selfcontrol.  Our oldest daughter bagn at KTA when she was seven years old.  She has been there over four years and still loves it!  She earned her black belt when she was 9 years old and continues to be passionate about taekwondo.  Our second daughter started at KTA about one and one-half years later when she was 7 years old.  At first, she was very afraid to join the class because "she did not want people watching her."  Within a short time, Master Kim's patience, dedication to his students, and excellent teaching abilities enabled our daughter's confidence to increase and she was able to join the class, work out with the other students, and do very well at taekwondo.  She also earned her black belt when she was 9 years old ad continues to enjoy taekwondo.  Both girls have been involved in tournaments and performed on the demo team.  We are very pleased with Master Kim and Kukkiwon Taekwondo Academy.

My son Daniel had spent seven years at a local Tae Kwon Do School and had not improved much the last two years he was there. We looked at other Tae Kwon Do schools before finding KTA. After watching the first class we knew this was the school for us. I realized after the first class that Daniel's skill level in sparring was very poor for his belt level. Compared to other KTA students, Daniel's speed was slower and his stamina was marginal. Daniel worked harder than he had ever worked before. Within six months, Master Kim had helped Daniel to improve to the point where he was very competitive in tournament sparring.

Master Kim has a way of getting the best effort out of each student at every class. He pushes his students to train at a high intensity level through positive encouragement and creating a charged atmosphere. The improvement I have witnessed in many students is remarkable!

Many KTA students compete in tournaments. Master Kim does an awesome job preparing each student for competition. He is at all the competitions with each student coaching and encouraging them. Many KTA students have done very well at the local, regional, and even at the international level.

The school has a very friendly atmosphere and there are many KTA sponsored family activities to help families connect. We have met many new friends at KTA.

I truly believe KTA is the best Tae Kwon Do school in Minnesota!
